R.I.S.E. Program

“RECOGNIZING AND INSPIRING STUDENT EXCELLENCE”

R.I.S.E. Overview

The RISE Program is an early childhood education program for children ages three to five years old who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and/or developmental issues that impact school success. In a structured and nurturing environment, our multidisciplinary staff will provide rich learning experiences and therapeutic interventions that will help students RISE to the next level of school readiness.

R.I.S.E. Program at a Glance

The RISE program is a comprehensive early childhood program, which utilizes a strengths-based approach to promote social and emotional growth, school readiness and overall wellness by offering the following:

Curriculum

Our curriculum is about discovery. Our children learn to compromise, be respectful and problem solve. We provide an environment for our children to explore, gain a sense of self, play with peers and build self-confidence.

Our curriculum is fully aligned with the New Jersey Teaching and Learning Standards. Math and literacy skills are embedded in the curriculum, as well as integration of hands-on science activities, social studies and health. We promote learning while helping each child meet his or her individual social, emotional, language, and cognitive goals.

Play Therapy

The RISE Program is equipped with a state of the art Play Therapy Center. Play Therapy sessions are facilitated by a Registered Play Therapist, focusing on the development of adaptive social skills and emotional regulation capacities. Students learn to take turns, form friendships, think creatively and use their imagination.
